The computers, Internet, Facebook, Twitter and other on line sites, has revolutionized the way genealogists research.  In June 1991 the Franklin County Genealogical Society held its first computer seminar with Galen Pinkham as instructor.  A "Computer Club" began monthly meetings.

After an extended hiatus, the Computer/Technology Committee resumed a segment of duties of the “club” in the form of the Technology Interest Group (TIG). Active since 2018, TIG submits technology articles to the Franklintonian and sponsors quarterly presentations for members on a variety of topics. Previous presentation slide decks are available by request as a membership benefit. Email or contact us if you need more information or have a technology “brick wall”.
